The Opportunity The Sydney office, located in the heart of CBD, close to Town Hall Station, and home to 200+ staff and 25 partners, Seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to help lead the Private Clients, Accounting & Tax team.
Working closely with the Partners,
you will play a key role in managing a high-performing team and servicing a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of private clients, overseeing accounting and tax compliance engagements.
- Deliver tailored financial and management reports to high-net-worth individuals and family groups.
- Manage & support a team of accountants, including coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
- Oversee work progress against KPIs such as financial targets and ATO lodgements.
- Maintain high technical standards while balancing multiple concurrent assignments.
- Drive quality client service through proactive communication and issue resolution.
About You You’ll bring a collaborative and confident approach to client service, and ideally have:
- CA or CPA qualification and a relevant degree.
- 7+ years experience in a practice firm, dealing with large privately owned clientele
- Strong technical accounting and tax skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
- A high level of attention to detail, organisation, and analytical thinking.
