Aboutthe roleand team
We have anexciting opportunity for a People & Culture Co-ordinator tojoin our team in Melbourne.
This is afull-time role sitting in the People Operations team within People& Culture (P&C;). Working closely with and supporting theP&C; Business Partnering team, this role collaborates with, andpartners across, the P&C; function and teams to enable aseamless people experience and excellent overall P&Cadministration; and co-ordination.
The P&Cteam; reports into the Director - P&C; and is part of theCorporate Services section for the business and partnership of Hall& Wilcox. The P&C; team includes P&C; BusinessPartnering; P&C; Operations; Talent Acquisition; Diversity,Inclusion & Wellbeing; Learning & Development; Performance& Remuneration; Early Careers; Organisational Development; andSystems & Reporting.
In this roleyou will be responsible for:
- generalHRIS administration and maintenance of employeerecords;
- generating peoplemovement notifications and coordinating logistics (onboarding,offboarding, transfers,
extended leave. etc.);
- regulardata cleansing and validation of employee records;
- adminsupport including intranet updates, enquiries, e-filing,invoices, travel, and expenses;
- preparing correspondenceand communications (employment agreements, variations, letters,memos, emails);
- ensuringthat all relevant people information is provided to the Payrollteam in a timely manner;
- coordinating workexperience programs and presenting the weekly P&Cinduction;
- managingannual practising certificate and membershiprenewals;
- trackingemployee birthdays and anniversaries;
- supporting annualP&C; processes (performance reviews, promotions,remuneration);
- liaisingwith Office Managers and Operations on first aid officercoverage and training;
- assisting with healthand well-being initiatives;
- providing overflowsupport to the Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, andEarly Careers teams (CV reviews, attending interviews, etc.);and
- basicP&C; reporting and other ad hoc tasks.
Aboutyou
You willideally have the following skills and experience:
- tertiaryqualification/s in Human Resources;
- twoyears of experience in a similar role (ideally withinprofessional services) is preferred;
- highattention to detail, strong organisational skills, and theability to manage competing priorities;
- a clientservice focus (internal clients and stakeholders);
- excellent verbal andwritten communication skills;
- a teamplayer;
- theability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitivematters discreetly;
- goodworking knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word,Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint; and
- experience using HRsystems,
including a HRIS (we use Humanforce HR) is preferredbut not essential.
