We are looking for a Payroll and Accounts Officer to join us on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, where your precision and reliability will be key to delivering smooth payroll and accounts operations.
As our Payroll and Accounts Officer, you will play a dual role across payroll and finance,



managing end-to-end payroll processing while supporting daily accounts payable and general ledger tasks. You will collaborate closely with HR and finance to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
Key Responsibilities: Process weekly payroll using Key Pay and Employment HeroHandle terminations, leave, and superannuation contributionsPrepare PAYG, STP, and ATO compliance reportingReconcile payroll and accounts-related general ledger entriesAssist with accounts payable and receivable, and month-end reportingManage supplier records and process invoices and paymentsInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier queriesMaintain accurate financial documentation and filing systemsContribute to ad-hoc finance projects that improve team processes and efficiencySupport month-end close tasks, including accounts payable and reporting dutiesMaintain confidentiality and ensure data integrity across all financial activitiesAssist with other accounting responsibilities as required to meet business needsAbout you:
