The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is Australia's national criminal intelligence agency. We advise senior decision makers on serious and organised crime impacting Australia. We are a full member of the National Intelligence Community, an Attorney General's Portfolio agency, and a member of the Five Eyes Law Enforcement Group.

**About the branch**
The Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS) Division provides critical ICT infrastructure, systems and services for the ACIC and its partner agencies in support of its strategic purpose and mission. The Chief Information Officer Branch (CIO) is responsible for the provision and support of the ACIC's critical infrastructure such as data centres, networks, service desk, desktop, video, cyber security and enterprise architecture. This includes the availability, continuity and security of ACIC's intelligence, national policing, research and corporate information systems and services both domestically and overseas.
**About the role**
The Assistant Director, Cyber Security, reporting to the Director ICT Service Delivery, is responsible for the Agency's Cyber Security Operations capability. This includes, but not limited to:
Leading a team of Cyber Security Operations professionals to protect the agency in vulnerability management, certificate management, coordinating penetration testing, assessing cyber security risk and providing frank and fearless advice.
- Has strong leadership skills, and is self-motivated to achieve business outcomes
- Has considerable experience in a cyber security discipline as well as demonstrated experience leading a team to achieve outcomes in the cyber security field.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams responsible for threat hunting, cyber security incident management, vulnerability management and event management
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
**Desirable experience**
- Experience administering Vulnerability management, event management and Privileged Access Management systems
**Eligibility**
