**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a **dedicated, experienced, and compassionate female Support Worker** to join our growing team. This role involves working closely with clients who are non-verbal and considered high-risk, requiring someone who is calm, confident, and has a trauma-informed approach.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide daily personal care and emotional support
- Assist with communication strategies for non-verbal clients
- Implement positive behaviour support strategies
- Promote safety, dignity, and empowerment
- Maintain accurate records and incident reporting




- Engage in meaningful community participation and capacity building activities

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proven experience working with high-risk individuals and non-verbal participants
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation skills
- Strong understanding of behavioural support and trauma-informed care
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in challenging situations
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with complex needs

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- Experience with non-verbal communication methods (desirable)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
