Liebherr’s Earthmoving and Material Handling Division has a great opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to support our expanding customer base. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will be based out of our Newcastle branch. This role will service new and existing clients in Newcastle, Hunter and mid-north coast region selling our broad range of equipment including Hydraulic Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Dozers, Material Handlers, Wheeled Excavators,
Articulated dump trucks and telescopic handlers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Develop Liebherr product awareness
- Generate Sales incl. cold calling, customer visits and expo attendance
- Prepare quotes and presentations for new and existing customers
- Manage full customer life cycle
- Implement sales initiatives and maintain CRM systems
- Grow Liebherr’s Market share and brand presence
About You
- Must have a passion for sales and experienced with CRM
- Proven experience in a similar sales or territory management position
- Experience within OEM equipment or related heavy industries
- Strong interpersonal skills and a solution driven approach to sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Sales or Marketing qualification advantageous
- Flexible with travelling and staying away from home
- Intermediate computer skill
- Will bring a Positive and high energy attitude to the business each day
