Procurement Systems and Processes Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Contract duration - 6 months

**About the Role**
Identify, develop, and implement human-centred designed processes and maintain technical integration for key Procurement Uplift project technology enhancements and implementations. These cover:
1) SAP enabled Procurement workflow
2) Source-to-Contract (Contract Management) Solution.
These technical components will need to integrate with eachother as well as the broader icare technology landscape. This role must oversee the design and delivery of solutions to ensure alignment with the approved platform strategies and reference architectures.
This role will work closely with the project team but also be the interface to other key internal teams such as the SAP team and Digitech (ICT) teams. Externally, they must work closely with vendors and other government agencies to ensure icare technical integration requirements are implemented inline with the project methodology, are fit for purpose and improve the overall user experience.
**About You**
- Identify stakeholders and collect business, functional, non-functional, & security requirements
- Define business need, assess capability gap, and define solution approach
- Assist in the definition of epics, user stories, and story points
- Manage solution scope and prioritise requirements (backlog management)
- Define access request, approval, and fulfilment workflows
- Provide expert advice and feedback on proposed procurement processes, technical solutions and integrations
- Escalation point for integration issues relating to procurement operations and corresponding resolution.
- Identify and document additional potential technical improvement opportunities across the procurement projects and implement change where appropriate.
- Provide input during testing and review test cases
- Ensure process enhancements and system follows the design, and drives the resolution of defects
- Ensures deployments into production are as designed
- Participate in go-live activity to ensure successful production environment
- Complete operational handover to run team and lead user training
- Support organisational change management before and after go-live
- Once solutions are implemented, monitor, and manage performance against agreed service level standards during hypercare period and provide feedback to ensure continuity and improvement of outcomes.
- Provide reporting and present key insights on systems. Processes, integration activity, risks, and issues.
**Essential requirements**:
- Pre-employment checks.
- Qualifications - Tertiary level qualification (i.e., bachelor degree or college certification) in business or other relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through practical experience
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of platform/domain concepts.
- Minimum 8 years in Information Technology, preferably 2 years' experience with Finance and/ or Procurement Systems.
- Experience with medium to large (2,000+ user) organisation
- Experience in Agile Project Delivery
- Full understanding of technology design and implementation project
- Past experience in Software Development will be highly regarded
**Typical experience**:
- Experience with procurement and finance technology design and implementation projects
- Broad experience in a wide range of information system technologies
- Strong skills in enterprise technology and processes
- Strong skills in business process design, implementing business process change, and conducting training sessions
- Strong skills in in tools (Excel, JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiarity with information security risk management
- Familiarity with technical concepts, products, and architecture (e.g. Okta, ServiceNow, Active Directory, Mulesoft, and/or SAP
