The Application Support Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch support to our customers in the use of the TASS student management system and related products. Naturally, you will be provided training in the TASS software and join a team of like-minded, high-caliber customer care professionals.
This is a full-time position with hybrid working arrangements: WFH and time in our office based in Hendra, Brisbane.
THE COMPANY The Alpha School System (TASS) provides intelligent software that connects the school community. A Brisbane based software company, TASS develops and supports TASS.web and Edumate Student Information Systems,
and the TrackOne Studio Learning Analytics Suite. This role will be focussed on the TASS.web product, a comprehensive suite of K-12 school management and community portal software products. ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES Triage and manage support enquiries inc. recording activity on each case.Logging requests through a ticketing system: Jira Service Management.Troubleshooting, issue investigation / diagnosis and resolution.Provide support to customers via the service desk management software or via telephone.Ensure processes are adhered to with respect to case management and escalations.Creation of bug reports.End-user acceptance software testing.Assisting with identifying where self-service resources need updating and proposing changes.Actively learn and become an expert in the TASS.weband portal software solution: become a Subject Matter Expert in specialised areas.Liaising with the development team (Software Architects and Developers) as a SME on software changes.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Experience in a helpdesk support or IT role, or alternatively experience using school administration software.Savvy with IT systems (software).Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues both written and verbal.Methodical and disciplined approach to problem solving.Tertiary qualification in information technology or a related field (nice to have).BENEFITS Participation in our corporate bonus program.Opportunities to grow your career within the business.Company funded training and career development.Flexible working arrangements.Regular social events in and out of office.Join a leading brand in the education software space that is on an amazing growth journey.TO APPLY:If you meet the above criteria, we can't wait to meet you!Apply now!
