Automotive Mechanic LV/HV/Plant (GSE Mechanic) - Sydney Airport

As an Automotive Technician at TCR, you will:
1. Utilize your technical skills and experience to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
2.
Report daily to the Shift Supervisor under the management of the State Service Manager.
3. Conduct preventive servicing, data collecting, as well as repair and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
4. Promote a safety-first approach.
5. Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
6. Work with multiple unique GSE specialized equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience:
1. Relevant Mechanic Trade Qualification.
2. Own tools.
3. Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.
4. Hold a current and valid Driver's License.
5. A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
6. Experience working within procedural guidelines.
7. Good communication skills and proactiveness.
8. A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.
→ Pre-employment police and medical checks are mandatory for this position.
