Social Worker - Senior, Child and Development Service
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Social Worker within the Child and Development Service Department. This position will deliver high-level social work clinical services and provide leadership across one or more specific work units to stakeholders and customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).
Sunshine Coast Health is located in southeast Queensland, extending through coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver independent high-level social work clinical practice in developmental paediatrics, including assessment of children with moderate to severe developmental delays, with minimal supervision.
- Provide high-level clinical advice, education, and influence to professional operational teams and stakeholders regarding service delivery.
- Offer leadership oversight and clinical supervision to less experienced practitioners and students as delegated.
- Monitor professional clinical standards and outcomes, lead service improvement activities, and support evidence-based practice, clinical research, and quality initiatives.
Remuneration: Up to $157,359 per annum, including a salary range of $128,169 - $137,918, employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%), and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4).
