**E-Commerce and Retail Operations Manager**

While the initial focus will be on the operational aspects of our online e-commerce platform, the Operations Manager will also be a pivotal part of initiatives such as shop-in-shop and physical retailing environments. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations,



manage inventory, optimise supply chain processes, and enhance efficiency. The primary focus will be to enhance the customer journey, improve profitability, and contribute to the company's growth and success.

**Role & Responsibilities**

**E-commerce Operations Management (50%)**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce stores, including order processing, inventory management, and fulfilment.
- Collaborate with the marketing and digital teams to ensure the seamless execution of online campaigns and promotions.
- Manage the on-site merchandising and product placement.
- Monitor website performance to optimise the user experience and provide feedback/collaborate with the digital team on any technical issues affecting the e-commerce platform.

**Retail Operations Management (10% - Initially)**
- Develop and implement strategies alongside the Sales and Marketing Manager/Project Coordinator to maximise sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all future pop-up stores,



retail stores or physical environments maintain a welcoming and organised environment for customers.

**Inventory and Supply Chain Management (20%)**
- Implement effective inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimising overstock and stockouts.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favourable terms, ensure timely deliveries, and manage vendor relationships.
- Work with the procurement team to source new products and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability.

**Data Analysis and Reporting (20%)**
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions for process improvements.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for the management team, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for growth.

**Qualifications & Desired Skillset**




- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in retail and e-commerce operations management, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and e-commerce best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
- Analytical mindset, adept at using data to identify trends and drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, order management systems, and inventory software




- Passion for retail and e-commerce trends and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Highly agile and can work concurrently across multiple brands, products, and sites.

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

- Port Melbourne, VIC 3207: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
