Finance Accounts Officer | Prominent SA Government Organisation | Adelaide CBD | ASO3 | 3 - 6 Months
We’re partnering with a prominent South Australian Government department to recruit a Finance Accounts Officer with a strong financial operations focus. Based in the Adelaide CBD, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, high-performing branch responsible for overseeing a state-wide portfolio of infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Support financial operations through reconciliations, journals, and analysis
- Monitor and manage Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and audit preparation
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across a dynamic branch
- Contribute to policy, report drafting, and process improvement initiatives
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support key financial activities

About You
You bring:

- Strong experience in finance administration, preferably within government or large organisations
- Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment




- A solutions-focused mindset with a passion for accuracy and process improvement

Requirements

- Must have current Australian working rights
- Willingness to undergo a criminal history check
- Some intra-state travel and after-hours work may be required
