The firm is a successful international investor, which has a track record of successful investments globally.
Due to momentum in the Asia-Pacific region, the firm is seeking a new Associate Investment professional to join their Sydney team.This role will join a team responsible for identifying private credit and special situations investment opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
This role will analyse investment opportunities across the the capital structure; including distressed debt and special situation buyouts, mezzanine finance, direct lending and bespoke equity solutions.This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a US private capital firm that has local and international momentum to grow its Australian presence.To be considered for the Associate position, professionals require ~2-6 years of total experience, including experience in a direct investment fund, investment bank or management consulting firm.Role Responsibilities:Investment origination and deal sourcing in the credit and special situations sectors;Transaction execution - management of advisors, commercial and financial due diligence;Financial analysis, valuation and modelling - for both new and existing investments;Developing investment committee papers and client presentations;Developing and implementing financial and operational strategies.Candidates must also possess the following:2-6 years of experience in a direct investment fund, investment bank or management consulting firm.Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Commerce,
