Downer is proud to be the current maintenance contractor for the City of Gold Coast, delivering traffic signal, road lighting, and ITS infrastructure services under a 7-year contract. We're seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Project Manager to lead this high-profile program,



ensuring safe, efficient, and innovative outcomes for the community.

You'll manage a skilled team of electricians, civil workers, and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong stakeholder engagement

Key Responsibilities

- Full accountability for performance and delivery of Traffic Signals and ITS Maintenance Contracts.
- Lead and manage a team of direct and indirect reports, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence.
- Collaborate with City of Gold Coast and key stakeholders to shape service initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Zero Harm policies and conduct regular safety inspections and toolboxes.
- Manage financial reporting, invoicing, and contract variations.
- Apply best practice asset management and customer-centric strategies.

What you'll bring

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent industry experience.
- Current QLD Electrical Licence and Certificate III in Electrotechnology (desirable).
- Proven experience in Electrical/ITS industry and team leadership.




- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery skills.
- High emotional intelligence and a proactive approach to team development and change management.
