HSE Advisor – Major Renewable Energy Project 10km from Parkes, NSW | Contract Role 6-Month Contract | Commencing in ~3 Weeks | Fly-In/Fly-Out Option Monday–Saturday (with swing roster option if not local) Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with a leading renewable energy provider to recruit an experienced HSE Advisor for a high-impact project in regional New South Wales.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major renewable infrastructure initiative – the Quorn Park Hybrid Solar Farm Project – encompassing a 98MW solar installation and a 20MW battery facility.
About the Role As a site-based HSE Advisor, you'll work closely with field operations and project delivery teams to lead and implement health, safety, and environmental strategies that ensure high compliance and safety outcomes. You will collaborate with another HSE Advisor on-site and be instrumental in shaping and upholding a positive safety culture during construction.
Key Responsibilities Lead site-based HSE activities including toolbox talks, safety inspections, audits, and investigationsChampion HSE best practices across contractor and project teamsDrive compliance with WHS/OHS and environmental regulationsAnalyse incident trends and lead continuous improvement initiativesProvide guidance on risk assessments and corrective actionsEnsure accurate documentation, reporting,
and regulatory alignmentAbout You Minimum Cert IV in WHS or Environmental Management (essential)3+ years of experience in site-based HSE roles within construction or infrastructureFamiliarity with HSE practices in renewable energy or utilities projects (advantageous)ICAM or equivalent investigation training preferredExceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skillsWorking Conditions Mon–Fri, 6:30am–5:30/6pm | Saturdays: 7am–3pmIf local to Parkes region: Expected Mon–Sat rosterIf non-local: 10 days on / 3 days off swing roster availableFlights provided, but candidates must arrange their own accommodationReady to Apply?
