**About the role**

TAFE NSW has an exciting casual opportunity for motivated individuals with current experience in Landscape Construction to join our team as a casual Education Support Officer located at Richmond Campus.

Your role will be responsible for a range of tasks which directly and indirectly supports the learning process for students from various backgrounds and needs. You will be a part of a dynamic team, helping students to understand their learning materials and concepts whilst creating an innovative and exciting educational environment. This role may require you to travel to Wentworth Falls campus.

- This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment._

**A Day in the Life**





This role helps to support and build relationships with the students in the Landscape Construction section within the Western Sydney Region. You are motivated and dedicated to assisting students to achieve their highest potential.
- Assisting with and coordinating work placements
- Providing support to teachers and students either face to face or online
- Motivating students to complete tasks and practice their skills
- Tutorial support, class support, class delivery support
- Student administrative support

**To be successful in the role you must have**:

- Certificate III in Landscape Construction or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in Landscape Construction.
- Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in Landscape Construction.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to meet all the selection criteria as outlined in the position description.
