**About the role**
The **Quality Assurance Manager**role**is a** Full-Time**position, based at **Yarraville and Scoresby, VIC**. Reporting to the** Operations Manager**you will Lead, mentor and develop a high-performance culture with the team to optimise quality, operational efficiency and sustainability. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
**In this role you will**:
- Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufactured products to ensure compliance with internal specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation,
including testing protocols and inspection reports.
- Train and support staff on quality control processes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation for external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor industry trends and updates related to product standards and regulations.
**What you bring to the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in a Science or Engineering Discipline - Desirable (preference for Manufacturing based activities)
- Experienced with Quality Management Systems
- Experienced in Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement program
- SAP experience an advantage but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and convert insights into improvement initiatives.
