Newman
Valid visa with full working rights for a minimum of 12 months required.
Relocate and live in the regional town of Newman in Western Australia.
Provide proof of 12 months of F/T paid in employment in ECE sector in Australia.
Relocate to Newman in rural Western Australia under your current visa and after 6 months probation, commence the eligibility assessment for a DAMA sponsorship.
TO BE ELIGIBLE YOU ARE REQUIRED:
- To currently be living and working Australia in the early childhood education. Offshore/overseas based candidates cannot be considered.
- You are required to have a minimum of 12 months full-time paid employment in Early Childhood Education in Australia as either a Diploma qualified Educator or Room Leader (this is a requirement of the visa application process and will need to be verified).
- You are required to have a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- You are required to have a minimum of 12 months on your current Visa and be available to relocate under your current visa and accept a role that requires full-time hours each week.

Candidates on student visas are unable to apply or be considered.
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO:
To relocate to Newman, a remote town in Western Australia at your own cost. You will be employed under your current Visa for the first 9 to 12 months.
Once you pass your six month probationary period, you will then undergo the eligibility process for a DAMA Visa.
TO BE CONSIDERED YOU ARE REQUIRED TO EMAIL THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
- Confirmation of your current residential address in Australia.
- A current resume with full details of your work experience and responsibilities in Early Childhood Education, including dates of and employment type, F/T, P/T or casual.
- Early Childhood Education qualifications transcript
- Proof of your ACECQA qualifications assessment
- Current Visa documentation
- Passport

YOU WILL NEED TO COMMIT:
To having the available funds to cover the cost of relocating to Newman in regional Western Australia and have the ability to pay the high rental costs in Newman.
You will need to be a confident and capable leader, who can mentor and guide trainees. You will have a practical hands on approach to your work and the ability to build strong relationships with families.
Previous experience with inclusion support and vulnerable families will be highly regarded as will experience working with Aboriginal communities.
Newman is a remote regional town with a strong community spirit but limited services. So you will need to be adaptable and resilient and committed to moving to a remote town long term. So please consider this before you apply.
