Scope of the role:
Assess class enrolments and create tailored training plans for each age group.
Conduct gymnastics coaching sessions,
providing supervision and guiding participants through the skill development plan for the term.
Continuously evaluate training progress, adapting plans to support different ability levels.
Motivate participants and ensure practice sessions are engaging and safe.
Provide feedback to management and assist with recruiting new participants and coaching staff.
Inform participants about relevant local competition opportunities and updates.
Promote sports and skill development through community outreach, events, and activities.
Officiate at sporting events, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
Coordinate sporting activities and collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth operations.
Create a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants.
To be considered for this role, you should:
Be willing to commute as rostered if based outside the Northern Beaches area.
Be available to work weekends and occasional split shifts.
Have relevant qualifications in sports coaching or development.
Have at least 2 years of experience in coaching or sports development, preferably in gymnastics or dance.
Be able to adapt and respond to diverse participant needs and abilities.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Be passionate about promoting sports and physical activity within the community.
How to join the team
Pay: $58,688.52 - $99,441.01 per year
