**The Opportunity**
The Manager, Risk & Controls, will report to the Chief Risk Officer (Client Accounts) Australia and New Zealand and support the Account Governance, Risk & Compliance team to uplift the account Risk Management Framework (RMF) and drive better risk outcomes with in the Client Account and broader DXC A/NZ Client Account team.
**What you will do**:
The Manager, Risk & Controls, will support the Chief Risk Officer (Client Accounts) A/NZ and the Account GRC team, to:
- Develop, maintain and implement risk mitigation strategies for critical risk and monitoring of these risks. This includes:
- Identifying and assessing operational and compliance risks and helping uplift the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF).
- Co-ordination of operational risk governance activities including uplift of RCSA Frameworks (inc. uplifting risk registers, developing & embedding compliance monitoring programs, and developing & embedding control self-assessment programs).
- Help prepare dashboard reporting on risks, issues (control gaps) and incidents (control failures) for Senior Management and Divisional Leaders.
- Conduct deep dives and topical reviews.
- Support Senior Management and Divisional Leaders to foster a culture (through risk education and awareness) which promotes responsible risk management colleague behaviors.
- Help co-ordinate and manage the delivery of internal and external audit programs (inc. PCI DSS, SOC2 and ISO Compliance).
- Support change activities including assistance of project and transformation activities within risk management
**What you need to succeed**:
- 5+ years in risk management and compliance.
- Experience in Cards and Payments Services, preferred.
- Professional experience in IT,
with experience in an information security, risk management, projects delivery, audit, or equivalent discipline, preferred.
- A strong and practical understanding of leading risk and compliance management practices
- Experience with development and embedment of operational risk management and control frameworks withing financial services.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Experience in preparing and presenting risk reports to senior management stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and manage a small team.
