2x Cardiovascular Theatres and Day Surgery Unit. We complete procedures across Cardiovascular, Vascular, Colorectal, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery, Urology and Urodynamics, Cancer Care, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Ear Nose and Throat, Orthopaedic, Oral and Maxillofacial, Endoscopic Services, CSSD and more.**The Role**:
- The role will report to the Perioperative Nurse Educator and will be a part of the wider Education team. You will support patient facing skill development, training and assessment and quality improvement aligning to evidence-based practice, through education. You will work collaboratively with the Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Managers to make a significant contribution to the clinical education of staff and graduates.- We are looking for two Perioperative Registered Nurses to carry out training needs across multiple specialties. The Clinical Facilitator roles will be split into the following areas:
- Anaesthetics, PACU, DOSA
- Scrub/Scout, Endoscopy, CSD & Operating Theatre Orderlies (OTO)

role is a non-shift work role and includes some flexibility in hours to occasionally support program delivery.**About You**:
- As an enthusiastic and experienced perioperative nurse, your passion for education is evident in your desire to impart knowledge and skills to your peers. To be successful in this position, you will:
- Be an experienced Registered Nurse with at least **2 years** recent perioperative experience;
- Demonstrate a passion for clinical teaching and education
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a diverse range of individuals
- Ability to work both autonomously and effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Have completed or willingness to undertake:
- Preceptor program;
- Certificate IV (Workplace training and assessment); and
- Post graduate perioperative or education qualification
