**About the Role**
This is a full time 1.0 EFT,
fixed-term opportunity (to 5th December 2025) for a Grade 1 Dietitian to join our thriving team. The role will predominantly be based in Monash Medical Centre, Clayton with opportunities to work from Moorabbin Hospital and the Victorian Heart Hospital. Travel to all Monash Health sites may be required. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills and gain exposure to a wide range of specialities. You will be supported throughout by our well networked and experienced team.
The Grade 1 Dietitian provides Dietetic services within Monash Health bed based patient services, outpatient services and clinics with the aim of improving patient outcome and/or facilitating discharge. They will actively contribute to the Nutrition and Dietetic and multidisciplinary teams by providing best practice clinical care, sharing knowledge and participating in professional development, quality improvement activities, and projects as delegated.
The Grade 1 Dietitian is supported by their clinical supervisor and Grade 1 Group to enhance their learning and development.

Nutrition and Dietetics are an integral part of a wider Allied Health and ward multidisciplinary team. We provide a comprehensive range of specialist acute and sub-acute services across all Monash Health sites. We collaboratively ensure the best outcome for clients in our care.

The successful applicant will bring:

- Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
- A commitment to providing evidence based, patient-centred practice
- A Dietitians Australia accredited dietetics degree or hold a Dietitians Australia mutually recognised
dietetics degree from New Zealand or have passed the Dietitians Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process.
- Eligibility for membership of the Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program.
- Preferably at least 6 months clinical experience in a hospital setting
