Job Description

About the role

Reporting to the National Business Manager, this position is responsible for the management of all aspects of the Petrol and Convenience channel, with a concentration on sales and profit growth within this channels in line with company objectives.

As the National Account Manager, you will take ownership of managing and growing a health food and snacking range within the Petrol & Convenience (P&C;)



channel across Australia. You will be responsible for building strong commercial relationships, driving brand presence, and executing sales strategies that align with our mission to deliver healthy, convenient options to Australians on the go.

Key responsibilities include:

- Account Management : Build and manage long-term relationships with key accounts in the P&C; channel, ensuring consistent service excellence and identifying growth opportunities.
- Category Leadership : Own the performance of our health food and snacking range within the P&C; environment, ensuring alignment with channel-specific strategies and customer needs.
- Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to drive revenue growth, boost distribution, and increase market share nationally.
- Promotional Planning :



Collaborate with internal teams to roll out targeted marketing and promotional campaigns that resonate with the fast-paced, impulse-driven P&C; environment.
- Market Intelligence : Monitor category trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to identify insights and inform commercial decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal departments including marketing, supply chain, and innovation to deliver end-to-end execution and support customer success.
- Reporting : Provide accurate forecasting, performance tracking, and regular reporting to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

We are looking for someone with solid National Account Management experience, ideally with an understanding of the Petrol and Convenience retail landscape in Australia.



You will have strong commercial acumen and the ability to create and implement strategic plans that align with both the short term and long-term goals of the business.

In-depth knowledge of category management, sales forecasting, and leveraging retail data to drive account performance

Skilled in identifying growth opportunities and enhancing product assortment, placement and promotions

Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with key national retail accounts

Comfortable presenting strategic insights, business reviews, and tailored proposals to both internal and external teams

Strong interpersonal skills to work with senior decision makers and stakeholders across the business





Ability to manage budgets and make data driven decisions to support business growth

Knowledge of trade spend management and financial forecasting

Proven negotiation and selling skills

Excellent written andverbal communication skills
