Clinical Director - Digital TransformationThis is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for two (2) years, with the possibility of extension(s).
Position Profile: As part of the senior leadership team within the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Information Management and Technology directorate, this position is responsible for developing systems and strategies to support digital innovation and transformation in the clinical setting.
This includes driving continuous clinical process improvements focused on patient outcomes and efficiency, and enhancing organisational reform.
The Clinical Director Digital Transformation leads the Digital Transformation team to plan, design, and implement clinical ICT projects across WACHS,
including clinical workflow mapping and business change management.
The role involves partnering with HSS and external stakeholders to improve clinical applications and develop contemporary solutions to support WACHS as a high-performing service.
Area Profile: WACHS is the largest country health system in Australia, serving approximately 530,000 people, including 57,000 Aboriginal people, across a vast area of over 2.5 million square kilometres.
It comprises seven regions with a network of public hospitals, health services, and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia.
