We are looking for an experienced State Account Manager to join the Wholesale team. This role will be responsible for the Management and acquisition of state accounts and development of the sales and targeting strategy for new state account acquisition.
Working collaboratively with the regional operations teams and national sales & partnerships team to identify and correctly position new opportunities. You will develop and manage sales planning process to execute growth while maintaining revenue growth and profit for existing state account customers.
What you’ll do
- Maintain & Grow existing state-based accounts
- Strategic Account actions (set joint business plans with customers for next 6-12 months)
- Develop and maintain the strategic state sales account roadmap
- Ability to read, comprehend and evaluate P&L;, financial forecasts and determine leverage opportunities.
- Evaluates product mix, GP margins, product range, buyer characteristics
- Build strong networks with key customers, own your accounts
- Generate and share data driven insights
- Develop category offer in line with market trends and profitability targets.
- Work cross functionally with finance, marketing, operations and merchandise to create and deliver customer led solutions.
What you’ll bring
- 5 - 10 years working in key account management
- Experience working in FMCG,
Retail or any other related industry
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Collaboration and relationship building within a team environment
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills
- Exceptional influencing skills
