About the role:
Be a Trusted People Partner Shaping a Positive Employee Experience
We’re looking for a passionate and collaborative Human Resource Business Partner to join our team on a 12month fixed-term contract due to a team member secondment. In this role, you'll work side-by-side with leaders to deliver real impact across the full employee lifecycle, from workforce planning and talent acquisition to learning, performance, and employee relations. You’ll bring practical advice, coaching, and insights that help our people and teams thrive.

Culture and Safety (PCS) team, you’ll help bring our PCS strategy to life, supporting Unitywater’s corporate goals and future growth. You’ll work closely with your PCS peers to connect business needs with people solutions, using your strong relationships and strategic mindset to drive a great employee experience every step of the way.
About you:

Qualifications & Experience

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
- Extensive HR generalist experience, ideally within both blue- and white-collar, unionised environments
- Strong background in complex, multi-disciplinary organisations





HR Expertise

- In-depth knowledge of national and state employment legislation
- Skilled in interpreting and applying industrial instruments to drive business outcomes
- Experience in organisational design, change management, and implementing contemporary HR and ER practices

People & Communication Skills

- Proven ability to coach, advise and influence leaders at all levels
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with commercial acumen
- Confident communicator with a passion for delivering results

Problem Solving & Project Skills

- Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving and project management experience
- Change management know-how to support evolving business needs

Other

- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
