[IWA-046] | Pathology Collector Illawarra

Southern.IML Pathology has vacancies for casual Pathology Collectors to work in
the Illawarra Area. The area covered is from Engadine to Gerringong.
Responsibilities include specimen collection and handling (venepuncture); home
visits; documentation, patient care and liaising with doctors and patients in a
professional manner.
The current hours of operation are between 7.30am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday,
with participation in a weekend roster as required. Flexible availability is required
in this position.
An experienced pathology collector in venepuncture is essential. Good
interpersonal skills, a strong patient focus, computer skills, flexibility and the




ability to work in a busy team environment as well as individually are essential.
The successful applicant must have a Certificate III in pathology collection, and a
current police and a working with children check. A current first aid certificate is
an advantage.
