Your role
The Senior Property Officer (Property Advisory) within the Infrastructure and Assets Strategic Infrastructure Risk and Resilience area undertakes property related status investigations regarding ownership control and management of real property assets and supports our service delivery agencies for dealing with these owned assets.
This includes support for tenure management, easement activities and other property related inquires which cannot be dealt with by the service delivery or maintenance areas. This role will be expected to co-ordinate and manage a range of property outcomes in line with established objectives; and contribute to efficient, proactive and responsive service delivery.
What You'll Do
As part of the Strategic Infrastructure Risk and Resilience Team within Infrastructure and Assets division, you will be responsible for but not limited to:




Manage allocated tasks and projects to meet organisational objectives within agreed timeframes budget and scope. Perform critical analysis on key information to support informed decision making and planning. Identification and escalation of risks and issues. Ensure compliant, accurate documentation and records are maintained for the Property Advisory team, in line with DCJ Records Management policy. Co-ordinate and manage property related quality information/data, information requests, Questions on Notice, House folder notes, ministerial reporting and briefs. Prepare correspondence, communication, agendas, minutes, meeting papers, presentations and briefing notes to support portfolio outcomes. Identify opportunities for continued improvements for area of responsibility including business processes and procedures to improve efficiencies, safety, security and staff wellbeing.

flexible work environment and we're happy to discuss your preferred flexible / remote work arrangements. Noting that the requirement is to be 50% present in an approved office location. There are opportunities for career advancement, working flexibly 35hrs per week and flex time.
Essential Requirements
Demonstrated qualifications and/or experience in land economics, property and asset management, building principles, and commercial leasing, with a sound understanding of industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and best practices across these domains. Current NSW Drivers Licence with ability and willingness to drive throughout NSW. This role may involve overnight stays.
