An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced IT Release Manager to oversee and streamline software release processes within a leading Organisation in the Energy Sector

Description

- Manage end-to-end software release cycles to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Build and implement release management processes, tools, and best practices.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, testing, and operations to coordinate releases.
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with IT releases.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organisational guidelines.
- Provide detailed reports and insights on release performance and post-implementation reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the release management framework.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders regarding release schedules and updates.

Profile
A Successful IT Release Manager Should Have

- Proven experience in managing IT release processes within a structured environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Creative thinker who can build and implement processes
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills - ability to manage and present to Senior Stakeholders
- Technical proficiency in release management tools and platforms.
- An ability to analyse complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Relevant qualifications in IT,



computer science, or a related field.
