This role is also eligible for relocation to Mount Isa.

The operation is situated on land traditionally owned by the Kalkadoon People and we respect their rights and interests.
The Role
This role would report into the Superintendent Mobile Maintenance and would be on a 5/2: 4/3 work roster. You will have the opportunity to lead and supervise the team in maintaining assets and ensuring that the business plan objectives get executed as planned.
You will also be responsible to maximise plant availability through adequate execution of preventative, corrective and unplanned maintenance tasks. You will be responsible to maintain capital expenditure for the fixed plant maintenance depart and drive reliability initiatives within the maintenance department.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Support of Department KPIs (Work Management, Business Plan, Asset Management Plan, etc); Utilise Work Management Process to ensure planning, timely execution and recording of Maintenance works.
- Hold Team and Self accountable for the quality and quantity of works completed.
- Ensure competitive quotes are obtained where possible.
- Assist with planning and execution of projects in Maintenance & Engineering.
- Active participation in site processes (B-Safe, 3Cs, 3Ws, change management, etc.) and process improvements.
- Prepare for and attend relevant meetings.
- Assist Maintenance Department in creating, Monitoring and executing of Capital Expenditure projects.
- Assist superintendent in the EOM processes which include costs, reporting and haulage contract invoicing.
The successful applicants will have:
- Essentially be trade qualified or have a relevant tertiary qualification
- Thorough understanding of the plant and maintenance strategies
- Sound knowledge of SAP and Microsoft suite
- Sound knowledge of the Capital Management Framework
