ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
The Social Media Specialist for Shoes and Sox will work to drive brand growth and support trade commercial outcomes through our Social Media channels, publicity initiatives (including influencer and advocacy) and content development. They will be responsible for developing and delivering the social media, content strategies and influencer strategies, and collaborate with our PR agency partner to drive brand heat via media, influencers and key events.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Work together with the Marketing manager to develop the seasonal social media strategy focusing on engagement and audience growth across key platforms, which ladders up to the master brand strategy.Develop and execute the social media calendar and execution of content and activity across owned organic channels and, where required,
supporting wholesale partner organic channels.With support from the Marketing Manager, lead the development of content ideas that support the master brand strategy and key trade/brand moments. Lead the execution of content production requirements for all key channels and accounts.Work together with the Marketing Manager and our agency partners to develop and execute the seasonal PR & Influencer Strategy, which supports the master brand strategy. This includes PR activity, eventing and influencer marketing and seeding.Partner with Group Digital Performance Marketing leads on developing the Paid Social strategy and brief required assets and comms for its seasonal execution.Manage the relationship with our PR agency, media,
influencer and creator partners and any creative/content suppliers to optimise outcomes and deliver on KPIs.Support the Marketing Manager on campaign development and other adhoc social and content where required.Closely follow social trends to adopt new initiatives as they present themselves.Manage weekly social giveaways by developing ideas, sourcing and partnering with other brands as well as managing the draw and prize fulfilment.Ensure the timely reporting on content efficacy, influencer and PR initiatives, plus owned social channel performance and growth, and paid social performance (in partnership with Group Digital). Identify key learnings and insights and continually optimise in real time.Monitor competitor activity, best practice execution and innovation.Support by exercising agility to execute adhoc tasks.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will come with..
5+ years in marketing, preferably in retail, fashion, sport,
performance or consumer goods.Strong background in content marketing and PR and influencer marketing, preferably within a fast-paced environmentStrong relationships with media, influencers, creators and creativesProven track record in developing and executing multi-channel marketing content that delivers growth across social media channels and publicity outcomesA keen creative eye and deep understanding of brandRelationship building and managementStrategic thinkingStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work under pressure and resilienceProficiency with Monday and Dash Social desirable.
