This role is hands-on, dynamic, and vital to the business. You'll be based at the Eight Mile Plains office, working closely with managers and teams across SEQ and regional sites including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and as far north as Townsville.



Occasional site visits will be part of the role, with travel expenses reimbursed.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing HR advice and support across performance management, grievances, and disciplinary processesCoaching and mentoring operational leaders to drive a positive and inclusive cultureSupporting recruitment, workforce planning, and onboardingLeading and supporting training and development initiativesInterpreting EBAs and awards, and advising on complex employee/industrial relations mattersDriving change initiatives and embedding best-practice people strategiesYou'll be part of a close-knit and capable P&C; team led by a supportive and well-regarded Manager, and you'll work alongside HR Advisors, a Senior Advisor, and a Coordinator.
About you To thrive in this role, you'll need to bring:
Demonstrated HR generalist experience,



ideally within the construction industry or a related industrial environmentStrong working knowledge of EBAs and award interpretationProven capability in employee relations – including performance management and investigationsExceptional stakeholder engagement and the confidence to navigate strong personalitiesA proactive, solutions-focused approach with a high level of adaptabilityTertiary qualifications in HR or a related fieldA valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to sites as neededThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships with operational leaders and making a tangible impact across a well-established business.
