Merrell Assistant Store Manager - Essendon DFO

The Role:
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Merrell Essendon DFO Store to lead, inspire, and coach a team of passionate casual staff, with support from the Store Manager.
This role involves working collaboratively with your Store Manager to identify customer trends and foster lasting relationships.
Please note: This is a part-time position (30 hours) with availability required on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient store operation to meet sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage
- Motivate your team to achieve KPI and added value targets
- Monitor sales to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals, recognizing outstanding results and addressing missed opportunities
- Manage wage costs in line with targets and rostering standards
- Coach and mentor team members to maintain high morale and support their development through training and succession planning
- Ensure health and safety compliance according to legislation

Candidate Requirements:
- Experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC
- Motivated, proactive attitude
- Passion for leading and inspiring teams
- Proven success in sales and achieving KPIs
- Operational skills in stock control and visual merchandising
