**The Opportunity**

Transport for NSW is currently recruiting for an Manager Cyber Security Operations to join the Security & Risk section of RDS IT branch within our Corporate Services Division.

This a Permanent Term Full Time opportunity based out of our Parramatta office with, flexible working arrangements available.

You will be lead and manage a team to evaluate, develop, monitor, and deliver cyber defence, cyber resilience services in order to reduce cyber and technology risk across the Transport cluster and support achievement of organsational objectives.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Lead and manage a team to plan and deliver cyber defence, and cyber resilience services such as security operations, continuous security monitoring,



incident response and resolution, intelligence and response, advisory, robust risk management, policy & compliance, business continuity, consistent with organisational objectives, service level agreements, current threat and technology landscape, policy/regulatory environment and best practice.
- Consult relevant internal and external expertise, research and analysis to continuously improve these services, in order to measurably reduce cyber and technology risk within agencies and across the cluster.
- Manage relationships with internal and external partners in the provision of these services to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
- Establish tools and processes to promote and influence effective practices amongst cyber and risk teams across the cluster.




- Regularly review the effectiveness of and establish improvements to these services
- Mentor and coach team members to guide and promote their development within the organisation and the field.

**About You**:
To be successful in these roles you will need:

- Demonstrated experience in IT operations/Application, continuous monitoring, incident response and resolution coupled with security mindset will be essential for the role.
- Demonstrated experience in leading security operations, continuous monitoring, incident response and resolution, intelligence and response.
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities, including the ability to strategically lead, influence, promote and motivate highly skilled technical staff to deliver desired outcomes.




- Stakeholder management expertise and experience to navigate through government processes combined with strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance in complex, politically and commercially sensitive environment.

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this position is Transport Grade 9 ($142,178 - $159,238) plus 10% superannuation and annual leave loading.
