including responding to customer requests regarding illegal parking, abandoned and unregistered vehicles.Ideally, you will be available to work a Tuesday to Saturday roster (weekend penalty rates will apply).What your day will look likeProvide guidance, advice, and assistance to drivers in relation to parking compliance mattersTake appropriate enforcement action where contraventions of parking legislation are identifiedRespond promptly to customer requests relating to illegal parking, as well as abandoned and unregistered vehiclesPatrol and supervise school crossingsPresent evidence in the Magistrates Court, as requiredAccurately record correspondence, notes, and evidence in Council's systemsWhat you will bringCertificate IV in Government Investigations (or equivalent), or willingness to obtainPrevious experience in a parking compliance or regulatory role (Previous experience in Local Government Highly Desirable)Demonstrated experience in a dynamic, customer-focused roleGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and general IT proficiency,
