The Account Executive position will be based in Adelaide SA & will be responsible for driving Development & Acquisition business in the South Australian state and local government and education sectors. Their charter is to grow revenue in existing accounts & key focus on Acquisition sales, leveraging the Lenovo Mobility, End User Compute, Data Centre & Services portfolio to drive profit, new lines of business, and build customer satisfaction.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
- Engage with existing and new clients to maintain and grow business for Lenovo across Mobility, End User Compute, Data Centre & Services portfolio.
- Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for Lenovo products and services.
- Develop account relationships on all hierarchy levels at the prospects, including senior level engagements.
- Leverage channel community to improve coverage and enhance relationships
- Engage with extended teams in responding to RFTs (Request for Tenders), product transition plans, and resource planning
- Develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand
- Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for an effective rollout.
Key Performance Indicators/Metrics:
- New customer acquisition
- Development of existing customer
- Strategic customer wins
- Profit retention and growth
- Revenue, Gross Margin, Units
- Marketshare in relevant segments
Team Involvement:
- High level of interaction between the South Australian Partner and AE teams, plus other business functions in Lenovo, i.e. Marketing, Product Planning and Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience
- A proven successful track record in IT sales
- Experience selling into large Commercial and Public Sector organisations
- Ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners across all levels of the organisation
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Self motivated with a strong drive for success
- The ability to work to aggressive targets and deadlines
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and sales reporting tools
