- As part of the IMI transformation, we have a newly crafted position of Business Operations Manager supporting the business.
- As Business Operations Manager, you will provide strategic direction to the Business Operations Function as well as focus on building a customer focused group, leveraging agile ways of working, process improvement and automation to build a highly collaborative, high performing team. In addition, you will be taking a hands-on approach to the strategy and management of companywide events leveraging 3rd party resources as necessary.
- Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Oversight of strategy/approach for business operations, accelerate process improvement and prioritization for impact, transform to agile ways of working and automation where possible as well as to build a high performing, collaborative team, leveraging knowledge and expertise across the group
- Oversee strategy & approach for major Company events, oversight of approach to incentive & reward trips,



stakeholder management by understanding target audiences and develop strategic events based on needs
- Negotiate & Influence design of events to maximise spend by working collaboratively with senior leadership across all Business areas to meet goals and to collaborate with internal Communications, P∧ IMLT in designing event content to maximise associate engagement
- Coordinate team to develop the creative design of events: Generate new ideas for events and conferences, translate these ideas into clear business outcomes, aligned to company vision
- Work with Business Operations team to develop Event Proposals for IMLT and to work with local IT infrastructure and external partners to build and deliver virtual platforms, multimedia and online event tools




- Establish Project Manage steering committees / workstreams for every event and to provide leadership and motivation in order to ensure synergy within the steering committee throughout the period of an event
- Manage vendors & suppliers for the successful running of an event including delivering on outcomes and keeping within budget parameters
- Oversee post event debriefings, learning outcomes with internal and external stakeholders as well as to review & negotiate best outcomes for contractual agreements including terms and conditions
