**The Opportunity**

Veolia is currently seeking enthusiastic Weighbridge Operators to join our Landfill and Waste & Recycling Centres on the Gold Coast. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely administration of waste acceptance and maintain strong relationships with customers and drivers to ensure all enquiries are responded in a timely manner.

**What you'll be responsible for**




- Operate the weighbridges accepting waste from account customers ensure it is docket correct.
- Undertake clerical duties including answering telephone calls and data entry
- Ensure that the gatehouse and on-site are kept clean and presentable to visitors and
- staff.
- Manage site access including the signing and direction of visitor and contractor.
- Ensure all coming waste streams meet company quality standards.
- Ability to work under limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment with rapidly changing priorities

**What you'll need to be successful**
- 12 months weighbridge operator experience (desired).
- Sound numeracy, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Basic Computer Skills - Google Suite Experience is advantageous.
- Experience with waste management electronic data recording systems.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role.
- Be 100% reliable and committed to grow in the role
