This is a key contract role for a Cyber Security Vulnerability Specialist to lead vulnerability assessment, application security, and risk analysis activities as part of a wider security team.What You'll Be Doing :Lead and manage the vulnerability management lifecycle – from identification through to remediation and reportingConduct regular vulnerability assessments across applications, networks, infrastructure,
and cloud servicesPerform detailed risk analysis and coordinate mitigation plans with technical and business stakeholdersDrive improvements in application security , ensuring secure coding and software practices are embeddedSupport compliance with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and internal governance policiesWork closely with the network security and broader cyber teams to ensure aligned and effective defencesWhat You'll Bring :Strong experience in cyber security , with a focus on vulnerability management and risk-based prioritisationSound knowledge of application and network security best practicesFamiliarity with tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or NessusExperience interpreting and applying regulatory and compliance frameworksExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsThe Offer :Initial 12-month contract with strong likelihood of extensionSydney-based hybrid role – approx.
2 days per week in the officeWork within a supportive, high-performing cyber teamDaily rate contract,
