We are currently looking for a:
Raging Waters Sydney - Facilities Team Leader

About the role:
The Facilities Team Leader is a hands on working leader responsible for supporting, guiding, and

working alongside seasonal team members across the Facilities department including Slide

Inspection,



Water Quality, Tubes, and General Maintenance.

This role suits someone who leads by example, takes pride in quality and safety, and genuinely

cares for the wellbeing, development, and morale of their team. While trade qualifications are not

technical environments. Site specific and procedural training will be provided to build familiarity

with park systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside the team in inspections, maintenance, water quality checks, and

cleaning duties.
- Assign daily tasks and follow up on completion to ensure work is carried out to standard

and on schedule.
- Act as the first point of contact for team support, mentoring, and coaching, especially new

or seasonal staff.
- Monitor team morale, encourage collaboration, and report concerns to the Facilities

Coordinator.
- Support Facilities team operations by responding to maintenance requests, conducting

spot checks, and helping with park infrastructure tasks.
- Ensure accurate completion of inspection forms, water testing records, work orders,



and

digital logs.
- Assist with equipment care, stock management, and site readiness across facilities work

areas.
- Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and positive team environment.

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):

- Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure the correct use of all safety and personal protective equipment by team

members.
- Demonstrate safe work behaviours and lead by example.
- Report any WHS incidents, injuries, or near misses to your Manager and First Aid

immediately.
- Actively promote hazard and near-miss reporting within the team.
- Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss safety topics and contribute to improvements.

Requirements

Education:
Essential
- Site specific training provided on park procedures and systems

Desirable




- Water Quality or Pool Operations Training
- White card
- Confined space training
- Working at Heights training
- Manual Handling Training
- Forklift licence
- Manual Drivers Licence

Languages: Fluent English

Skills:

- Team first mindset with supportive leadership approach
- Experience using hand tools and maintenance equipment
- Effective communicator with ability to give clear direction
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism

Experience:

- Experience in general maintenance, parks, or operational roles required
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience desirable
- Ability to work independently while supporting a seasonal team environment

This is a casual position from October to April, with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays during the season.
