The Senior FP & A will be a crucial member of the finance team. The position will report to the CFO, that have also the position ad interim of Head of Controlling and Management Reporting.
This position will be in charge of the planning activities of the regional business unit, the management reporting and the expenses control of the different cost Centre of the business unit.
Key to success will be the on time and on quality reporting, forecasting, analysis in providing impactful and synthetic insights to the other stakeholder that will receive outcome of the planning activities. This role is a strong data driven focus with the ability to use Excel,
Power Bi and Tagetik as the group tool to submit forecast and budget to Group.
Superior communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders both local and global Head Office are also critical for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
Align key business initiatives into the budgeting process.
Drive EA ANZ Finance Clearance with Group and assist the quarterly business review (QBR) and for all what is related to FP&A; topics
Drive the control and the forecast of expenses – excluding Staff Costs.
Assess and articulate deviations from the actuals to the budget.
Assist in building the financial model for new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain existing financial and technical model, tailor the model to new business
reporting requirements.
Provision of insightful and meaningful data analysis (from both operating and financial systems) to keep track of business performance and growth.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards and identify areas for improvement.
Continuously monitor and evaluate business performance and identify areas for optimisation.
Business analysis experience, including the ability to identify requirements and assess the impact of change.
Provide analytical support to the leadership team on contracts, tender and new business opportunities.
Other ad-hoc projects as required
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Degree and fully qualified CA/CPA with at least 4 years post-qualification experience.
Strong skills in financial modelling (including Advanced Excel), Power Bi and knowledge of Tagetik is a plus
Experience with insurance required and knowledge of IFRS17 is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – stakeholder management, communication of financial information to non-finance partners and presentation to the leadership team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and ability to meet tight deadlines
