CENTRE DIRECTOR - Child's Play - WYNDHAM VALE
Child's Play Early Learning WYNDHAM VALE! We are a family-owned company, with owners having over 25 years of collective experience in the Early Childhood industry. Our services aim to provide the highest quality of care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, from early years through to Kindergarten.
Child's Play was developed with the goal of providing families with high-quality care for their children prior to primary school. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to excel in an environment that encourages exciting and valuable learning.
We are seeking an outstanding, experienced, and passionate Centre Director to start immediately.
The role involves developing strong relationships with families, children, and the community, while creating an outstanding learning environment. Your role will be supported by the Owners, Operations Manager, Group Compliance Officer, Educational Leader, and your fellow educators.

Your skills and qualifications should include :
- Holding a Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood),
and / or studying towards a Bachelor Degree in Education
- A current Working with Children Check
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of Fee Software and CCMS
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Dedication to developing children's futures
- A friendly and energetic demeanor
- Exceptional administrative skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Availability to work between 6 : 00 am and 6 : 30 pm
Your key priorities will be :
- Managing day-to-day operations of the centre
- Supporting the educational leader in planning and implementing educational programs
- Handling bookings and enrollments
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to educators
- Working towards financial goals and sustainability
- Representing the centre in the community, establishing partnerships, and promoting the centre's values
- Ensuring programs support all aspects of children's development
- Maintaining and implementing policies and procedures
- Keeping records up-to-date
- Identifying and meeting training needs of team members
- Maintaining high health and safety standards
Applicants must hold current qualifications, including ACECQA-approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training. A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or Children's Services is required.
Please include two professional referees who have worked with you in the industry within the last 12 months.
