About the Job
An excellent opportunity exists to kick start your new career in Local Government through the position of Junior Technical Officer Assets.
The objective of this entry level position is to develop the required skills to assist in maintaining the currency of the Shire's Asset Database through data capture, update and entry.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Complete on the job and specific training courses related to asset data capture and the operation of asset database software, RAMM and NAMMS.
- Learn to safely operate a variety of asset data capture equipment and tools.
- Assist in providing various reports and valuations to the Asset Planning and Development team.
- Assist in maintaining the currency of the Shire's asset database.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:
- The ability to undertake on the job training in RAMM and NAMS.
- Computer competency in MS Office Suite
Salary : $62,822.00 - $67,323.00 per annum (dependent on qualifications and/or experience)
Permanent staff are entitled to:
- 5 weeks annual leave per year
- The option of one Rostered Day Off (RDO) every 4 weeks in exchange for working 40 hours per week.
- Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
- Superannuation co-contribution offered to a maximum of 5%
