About the role

Provide Urology Surveillance services to prostate Cancer patients and postoperative Urology patients at the Surgical Outpatient Clinics under the supervision of the Urology Clinical Director.r>Liaise and work collaboratively with clinic staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.r>Assist the department in providing high quality clinical and patient centred care.r>Assist the department in coordinating the effective functioning of the clinic as required.r>Ensure notifications of results and appointment outcomes of all patients are provided to the patient's nominated General Practitioner in case of share care.r>Ensure referral to appropriate hospital outpatient departments or operating theatre OT Elective Surgery Waitlist after discussion with Consultant.r>


Qualified as a medical practitioner and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.r>Fellowship of either the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine FACCRM or Royal Australian College of General Practitioners FRACGP.r>A professional keen interest in Urology care.dditional qualifications in this clinical area are not necessary but will be considered favourably.r>
