The Company

The National Basketball League NBL is responsible for the management and delivery of the men's professional basketball league in Australia and New Zealand.he Brisbane Bullets were founded in 1979 and aim to respect their proud past by inspiring and nurturing future generations embracing them as part of our Bullets family club culture and who we represent #WeareBNE.

The Role

The Commercial Sales Coordinator is accountable for providing administrative support to the Commercial team, primarily across our partnership portfolio to ensure partnership outcomes meet and exceed contractual obligations.

The sales function of the role is accountable for developing relationships with external stakeholders to drive game day package revenue across the suite of game day assets.


Working within the Commercial team, the role is accountable to support the building of collaborative relationships and partnerships between the Brisbane Bullets and its stakeholders including sponsors, fundraising partners, corporates, members, and customers.

Key duties of the role include

Assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager execute the commercial sales business plan

Manage a rolling pipeline of business contacts and leads

Utilise CRM tools to track, measure, and analyse partner activity

Prospect innovative engagement activities for partners, generate leads, develop relationships, understand customer needs, present solutions.

Manage daily and weekly activity including outbound calls, face-to-face appointments and represent the Club at various networking functions

Utilise CRM tools to track, measure, and analyse sales and marketing activity.

Corporate Hospitality

Drive the administration processes of Brisbane Bullets Premium and Corporate packages across business to business and business to consumer sectors.

Manage and coordinate game day ticketing, functions, dietary requirements, and function credits for all corporate stakeholders.

Assist Corporate Sales Executive in the development of the Brisbane Bullets premium & corporate hospitality packages.

Coordinate the & corporate seasonal ticket packing and distribution process.

Research competitor hospitality offerings to enable the Club to create new products that maximises venue assets.

Corporate Experience

Work collaboratively with the Head of Consumer Engagement, to ensure fulfillment of ticketing and benefits.

Assist with the onsite delivery of game day corporate & experiences.

Actively network game day clients, identifying new prospects to meet, follow up and up sell.

The must haves

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline sports, business, marketing or similar is desired

Current driver's license

1 year experience in a Sponsorship or Marketing function with experience in fundraising, marketing, and/ or communication.

Proven track record of administrative support within a multi disciplined business.

An understanding of the NBL, sports administration, sports entertainment industry or related industries is desirable.

Experience in the sponsorship field would be highly regarded

Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and effectively with a wide variety of people both internally and externally at all levels.

Proven client relationship experience within the corporate sector.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills couple with strong administrative and reporting skills
