The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Senior Registrar or Registrar Orthopaedic Hand/Upper Limb Fellow to join Gold Coast Health GCH where the focus of our 10 -strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.p>

You will

Be involved in all aspects of the clinical care of hand and upper limb patients

Provide leadership and teaching to the junior members of the Orthopaedic Department

Undertake a limited amount of general orthopaedic trauma in keeping with the trauma workload of the unit's hand limb surgeons

Be involved in research with the aim of completing at least one publication within the year

Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures

About you

To be successful in this position you will require

Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons FRACS qualifications or equivalent

Important Company registration

Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella Chicken Pox, Pertussis Whooping Cough, Hepatitis B and COVID

Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination be required

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Base salary ranging from $4349. - $.er fortnight
