The Mount Isa Hospital Maternity Services hub is the referral centre for all pregnant women in the North West Hospital and Health Service region and for a small Northern Territory community; providing care to women and their families within its' Antenatal service, Antenatal/Postnatal Inpatient Unit, Birthing Unit, Special Care Please apply online and Home Visiting program.t consists of eight beds, with a three bed Birthing Suite and a three cot Special Care Please apply online .he Please apply online has CPAP and ventilator capabilities, undertaking short term respiratory support for newborns, or stabilisation before transfer to a tertiary facility for ongoing management.he unit has approximately births per year.bsp;

Possession of, or working toward, relevant post-graduate qualifications and/or minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience would be highly regarded.andatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.re-employment screening, including criminal history checks and Vaccine Preventable Diseases VPD risk role compliance, will be conducted for the successful candidate.p>
