About the Role

Provide and be individually accountable for the delivery of high-level Clinical Pharmacy services, including within the Acute Pain Service.his extend to inpatients and outpatients outside of this service upon request and referral, and with minimal direct supervision.r>Review and assist internal and external health care providers with the management of complex patients, those receiving complex analgesia regimens, or those at high-risk of analgesic-related misadventure, and to contribute to the monitoring, safety, efficacy and tolerability of therapy.r>Provide clinical advice and assistance to line management, relevant service managers and other members of the multidisciplinary team as required regarding the management of clinical work practices, service delivery, quality assurance, and the prioritisation and development of complex clinical services as they relate to analgesic use.r>Actively contribute to the initiation, development, implementation, and monitoring of Pain Management activities, which include improving clinical practices, developing protocols and guidelines, delivering education, and collection of key performance indicator data.uality improvement activities should respond to trends in incident reports and other identified areas of concerns, and take place within any work unit.r>
