The Sit Down Comedy Club is currently on the lookout for a MARKETING & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT to join our -knit team!Based at our Paddington office, the position is initially being offered on a casual basis 30-35 hours weekly, with a view to becoming for the right candidate. role is predominately a Monday to Friday desk-based role, but does include regular weekend and evening work, so flexible availability is a must!The key responsibilities of the role include

ADMINISTRATION Attend to general enquiries Please apply through this site.p; phone from internal and external stakeholders;Process phone, counter and internet sales and related administrative tasks including managing reservations, exchanges, refunds,

gift vouchers and patron complaints;Work collaboratively with all members of the SDCC team to ensure open and clear communication is maintained across the organisation;Other duties as reasonable requested by the Director and/or General Manager.KETING Assist the SDCC team with day to day marketing tasks and coordinate marketing projects and activities as requested;Assist with maintaining marketing records; adequate and appropriate filing and archiving systems and databases with respect to all artists, media, partners, and other stakeholders;Produce clear and concise marketing communications, such as letters, emails, etc.elop and execute event specific marketing plans and campaigns;Generate, implement, and monitor content and imagery across all SDCC online channels;Undertake any other marketing related tasks as reasonably requested by the Director and/or General Manager.DUCTION Act as the first point of of patrons at live shows incl.eting patrons and providing information and directions;Operate basic sound and lighting production equipment training provided;Be aware of, and enforce appropriate venue house rules training provided.the successful candidate, you will have

Essential Skills/Traits An interest and desire to build a career within live entertainment production and promotion;Marketing/Entertainment/Creative Industries tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience;Ability to work nights and weekends at live performances, as required.sitive attitude with excellent self-motivation and ability to work to your own initiative;First-class written English skills with an ability to write informative, accurate and creative copy;Excellent eye for detail and exemplary proofreading skills;Customer service and conflict resolution skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines; andKnowledge of software programs including Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office SuiteOpen Drivers License Manual preferred Desirable Skills/Traits Knowledge of the comedy industry IMPORTANT BITS TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING
