About the role

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse who is accountable for at an advanced level, working collaboratively within the unit and with other members of the health care team including consumers/carers, other health professionals, general practitioners and other agencies including non-Government agencies.his role provides the delivery of clinical care and support specific to inpatients, outpatients and emergency presentationswithin a rural health setting.p>

Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in the area of Rural and Remote nursing delivering expert nursing care in complex situations while providing support and direction to other team members.r>Demonstrated ability to role model excellent standards of comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care and documentation to facilitate quality patient outcomes, in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service and professional standards.r>Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships and a positive environment within a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others to a high standard.r>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with members of the healthcare team, patients, relatives and visitors and maintain a positive workplace culture through well developed consultation, liaison, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.r>Demonstrated ability to support and lead quality improvement and research initiatives within the work unit, contributing to the use of evidence based to facilitate improved patient outcomes.r>Demonstrated ability to coordinate staff and manage delegated resources including prioritising needs and supporting day-to-day changes.r>

Service Description

Boonah Health Service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.p>

Boonah Health Service is an 18 bed acute and sub-acute care facility, providing a comprehensive range of inpatient and ambulatory care services and accepts both private and public patients.bsp; It is situated approximately 40 minutes from Ipswich.bsp;

Boonah Health service also has a 24-hour emergency service.p>

Our allied health team includes Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, along with Child Health and Immunisation and several other visiting services.p>

Mandatory Requirements

vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases VPD as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.16PDF

Vaccinated against COVID- as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.2/21PDF and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70PDF .r>
